Heart disease are among the worst enemies of women. Here we recommend that food cardiologists to prevent these diseases.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death,
hospitalization and physical disability to the level of the adult population and elderly across Europe, say cardiologists.

55% of deaths reported among European women are a pain caused by heart or cardiovascular system, when these diseases could be prevented quite easily, with a healthy lifestyle, even by those who have some heart patients among the relatives. If you want to protect your heart, one of the most important things you can do is control your diet. Few of us understand what may be hazardous foods we eat every day not only for the heart, and how well it would make us a proper diet.

The experts recommend that most of the fat you eat is mono and polyunsaturated fats. Monounsaturated fats are contained in olive oil and nuts, but also in the fruit of avocado. Polyunsaturated fats are found in sunflower, corn or soy and fish. The species of fish are recommended: salmon, herring, trout and fresh tuna, which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The fish is eaten at least twice a week.

In return, cardiologists recommend us to avoid butter, lard, meat fat pork, the skin of chicken, French fries, donuts, cookies and fast food kind of food. Salt is another enemy of the heart. Experts say that are consumed on average 20 grams of salt a day, when we need to only 3.5 to 5 grams. The caverns, which contains sodium, leading to the growth of blood pressure. Alcohol also has this effect, which increases the risk of a cerebral vascular accident. If you exceed 400-500 ml of wine per day, or three doses of beer, your heart is in danger. In return, the “light or moderate alcohol consumption (250-350 ml wine per day) is not contraindicated for cardiovascular system,” we reassure specialists, who recommend the red wine instead of other beverages.

Fruits and vegetables and whole grains are among the healthier foods, according to specialists. We know that a meal, put the pot should be filled with vegetables, and fruit is the perfect dessert, or may even take the place of the usual snacks. Dairy products give many benefits, but the cardiologists recommend only those skinny, with a maximum of 1% fat.

Beyond these recommendations, which cardiologists are now so many years, recent studies have found other foods that fight against heart disease.

It seems that green tea protects the cardiovascular system by reducing atherosclerosis. The study conducted in 2009 showed that regular consumption of green tea is associated with a 38% reduction in risk of atherosclerosis.

An increased level of vitamin D in the blood can prevent the risk of a heart attack, and the benefits are great, even for those who are young and healthy, who have no history of heart disease.

Another study shows that dietary supplements with vitamin K2 or eating plenty of green vegetables, reducing by 10% the risk of coronary disease. Vitamin K2 is found in eggs, liver, and fermented cheeses. Along with a healthy diet, cardiologists recommend us a lot of movement, giving up smoking and avoid stress.
